are remaining before I race at the Lumberjack 100.
Let's see what I can get done. My first or well second priority after the bike riding is sleep. I must must must get 9 hours each night in the next two weeks.
This thing called sleep seems to improve my fitness and ability to ride, ride fast, and do well in races I hear. "My punisher" says, it's one of the biggest reasons old fart racers like me, don't do well year around, they just don't get enough sleep.
I can certainly not argue with that.
Planning on doing some mini hard efforts this week and working up to 4 hours on Sunday - road or mountain - depending on the weather. I think the road may be my pick. I just haven't done too many long rides on the road this year...which is fine with me. I think my 9 hours last weekend on the mountain bike made up for that.
Need to make some time this weekend or later this week to get to the bike shop for last min race stuff and also do an overhaul on the mountain bike. The BB is creaking like a rocking chair in a room full of cats.
