Cyclocross Study Tools - Book and two videos
I was given a gift certificate on Amazon for attending a educational committee where I am a volunteering. Very nice of them. I ordered the book and thought I might see what I DON'T know about cross. Well, lots, ok a TON, it appears.
A friend, Ben had asked me a few weeks back if I had read this, well at this point, I am studying hard to finish the book. There is a ton of good info here, much to learn little one.
It appears Mason and I got this video the same day. He was not impressed with the video opening of Tim changing clothes. Said it was cheasy. I would agree on that point, but must say, the race footage is damn amazing. Great music, great film editing, nice camera work. It looks great in HD on a 50" tv. It is fairly short about 45 min or so. but worth the purchase.
Three tools I suggest you go out and buy right now. These are invaluable training materials.
This is a great movie on the Portland Cross scene. It's wet, it's hard, its Portland and it seems to always be raining. Some decent footage, some not so decent music, and some very semi-pro camera work. But still a great grass roots (ha ha no pun intended) cyclocross movie.
