After your after life - What you do after your life career.

It appears I am full of posts this week.
At work yesterday, I did a presentation to a group of students at a Broadcasting School. Many of the instructors and management there were ex/current Radio personalities or DJ's from around our area. Nice people, great students and some great questions from the group of about 30. But here's my observation, is this where 'retired' or not full-time DJ's go after they are not on the air anymore? or do they become professors at local colleges?
So that got me thinking about all the professions out there and where people go, when they finish their main career. Right?
Here's a few:
Retired Professional/Semi Pro Cyclists
: become team managers, team owners, start up a coaching biz, start up a cycling touring company, or approve/design/test cycling products, write for magazines, OD on drugs, disappear, become TV announcers, start up a 'cause'
well you get the picture.
Retired American Athletes: become sports announcers, local coaches, professional coaches, start up a 'cause', become actors, start up their own sports biz, marry an actor, date actors.
Ex Musicians: become music teachers, OD on drugs and die, try to become actors, become 'producers', start up a recording studio biz, date movie stars, become DJ's or VJay's.

Is there a pattern here?
